Professor in Sports and Entertainment Law, with a PhD from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica of São Paulo (PUC/SP) and masters related to sports (ISDE/Barcelona) and betting (Ohio University) industries.
Rafael Marchetti Marcondes has over 20 years of experience in the legal area, working for Brazilian top ranked law firm (Pinheiro Neto Advogados) before joining Rei do Pitaco – Brazil’s leading Daily Fantasy Sport company – in which is currently Chief Legal Officer, being in charge of legal, regulatory and compliance areas.
President of the Brazilian Association of Fantasy Sports (ABFS), is also Legal Director of the Brazilian Institute of Responsible Gaming (IBJR) and cofounder and Director of Government Affairs of the Brazilian Association in Defense of Sports Integrity (ABRADIE), having an extensive understanding of the regulation, besides the market dynamics of the betting and gaming industry in Brazil.
